It is still the same Poco x6 pro 5g. They only increase some specs, but it still the same phone. Whats new? It can play games,it can take videos and photos, it can do things that poco x6 can do. Whats new with this? It is still a rectangular phone.
Ugly mobile and worse cameras
Design looks good. But the specs aren’t too impressive. Hopefully, the real world usage will be satisfactory.

X6 pro and x7 about same price. Which one to buy. Both ends Android 17.

Launched with HOS1 in 2025? So it’s essentially a 2 year update cycle phone, HOS2 was out before this phone launched and is already in the X6 Pro.
Is poco better than Xiaomi in regards to updates?
I had the F3 and now using F5. Hopefully F7 is a good upgrade, but I am not hopeful.

Slightly disappointing when compared to the X6:
Upgrades:
– Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68 rating, internal shock absorption (?)
– Slightly better GPU (slightly weaker CPU)
– Newer, so further official Android updates
– Wifi 6
– Can also film 1080@120, otherwise cameras are similar if not worse
Downgrades:
– Mediatek may mean less custom ROM support (if you care about that)
– Lower max brightness
– No 3.5mm jack
– Weaker charger (this may improve battery longevity though)
The phone colour match with the colour in the room
I always see this "ugly design" "copy of its own brand". It’s 200 usd early bird price now. And Poco is just a global release (Global ROM with official IP rating) of the China-Centered release phones from Redmi.
Does it get a screenprotector in the box?
I know sometime people set high expectations on deal breaker phone and keep being so critical and ended up too far
