  1. "Device Protection" is just a marketing ploy to get you to sign up to McAffe annual security subscription at an extortionate price! Don’t bother. It’s a resources hog as well! There are better in the Play Store.

  2. Listen, stop bullshitting people. No one is getting compromised, and if someone is a target, he will be compromised no matter what.

  3. Funny how what appears on your screen at some point does not look like mine, or it doesn’t exist by the name you gave. I gave it a good go, though.

  4. I have a Galaxy S8+ but don’t have most of the settings you talk about. Example: Searched for Google Play system updates but nothing found. What should I do?

  5. Well, your comment, rather, your youtube account seems to be accepting my input. It’s been a year since any input, so hopefully, you receive it.
My consternation with all these layers of protection, especially if you have, say, norton that i pay for and I enable the "free" additional protection of samdung, it actually IS NOT FREE. What it costs me is all my personal information that Dimsung has to leech out at THEIR discretion to 3rd parties. All the legalize in the world don’t mean shit once that hand wringing, drooling third party gets their grimy mitts on it.
Please inform me if in any way I am mistaken.
Sincerely Rick H. Cheers, Carpe Deim.

  6. I use the Norton 360 on my S22 Ultra. Is there any point in enabling the device protection as shown? P.S. my phone says that the Secure WiFi plan is free for the first 30 days only, and has no other options for the download limit you mentioned.

  7. You’re not really that intelligent when it comes to mobile device security or just lazy as af.
As a ex employee in IT Security department, I can only say that McAfee is the worst anti virus tool that I’ve seen the day I started using my Windows 98 SE computer online back in the late 90’s.
I would never recommend this kind of AV tool to anyone. Even my worst enemy!!!
Just get Lookout security, get their premium subscription and also setup the built in VPN Based malicious link protection feature that will also protect you from fraudulent sites that pretend to have some big sales but never deliver the promised product or even simple phishing sites that try to pretend to be someone else, only to steal your login details and probably also bypass security features like 2 factor authentication.
I use this app on all of my phones and it’s compatible with Android and iOS.

  8. "You’ve already given consent to rivacy setting to another device"

I got this message from my Samsung 24 ultra. What does this mean as I am so scared right now

  9. I don’t have Deice Protection, because the Battery and Device Care are seperate. How do I do what you do then?

  10. My Samsung didn’t have the first thing you talked about. On the second point about securing the wifi, will it interfere with my current VPN protection I have?๐Ÿค”

  11. Im very disappointed by samsung i dont wanna see it again since my fellow employees connected usb data cable on my note 8 and s9 to their laptop and taken out all my secrete videos, pictures, audio and text of all whatsapp and other social app despite tha fact that i had it biometric security and so many other security

  12. Device Protection is not only a waste of resources, but it’s basically an advertisement in settings to get you to sign up to McAfee which as we all know is one of shittiest AV’s ever. Not to mention it’s also harvesting a bunch of your data (read the licence agreement and privacy policy)

Google Play Protect does a much better job of protecting your device, and as long as you aren’t downloading anything that isn’t vetted, you should be fine.

  13. Yeah why the ๐Ÿ‘‰ fuck you would use your phone ๐Ÿ“ฑ get into your Bank ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿง account ,, ๐Ÿฆ‰ Wise Guy " use your computer ๐Ÿ’ป ,, Brain ๐Ÿง  child ๐Ÿšธ !!!

  14. I don’t have secure wifi on my device. It’s AT&T. I notice a lot of settings missing. What gives? Will unlocking my phone fix this and make it like the default s23 ultra? I wanna know why AT&T has changed the settings without my permission?

  15. I have the s21 Ultra and the 0ne U.I 5.0 update and still don’t have any of these 5 features WTF# is going on.๐Ÿค”

I still can’t find it in the search bar.๐Ÿ˜ก

Unless it’s because I’m in Australia this is my guess to why I don’t have any of these new features unbelievable..๐Ÿ‘Ž

  16. Which phone are you using? When you showing demo tell that this is the phone only works and phone company blocked this device care and locking systems that’ s why phone hacked if all cell company needs to installed device protection that carrier supposed not to blocked against law then peoples can not afraid to use it cell phone needs dobled security if everything on line use.

  17. You shouldn’t say any user because phone software configuration are different according to their particular market area. It’s frustrating to follow an instruction to the end only to find out that the option doesn’t exist on your phone. For example I believe that in India there is an option to record a telephone conversation on a smartphone. It’s not available in Britain and a few other countries because it is illegal.

  18. I am from India. I cannot find Secure Wifi option inspite of having one UI 5.0 and Android 13. How to get it?
